In Wien: 1818 ging ich nach Wien und eröffnete 1823 im 1. Bezirk mein eigenes Geschäft - ein Handelshaus für Glaswaren.

Zur Person: Ich legte den Grundstein für die Firma, aber meine Söhne Ludwig & Josef brachten die Firma zu ihrem 

wahren, großen Glanz. Sie lieferten Kristallluster für die Hofburg, das Schloss Schönbrunn, die bayrischen Königs- schlösser, aber auch an internationale Königs- und Opernhäuser. 

Wussten Sie: 1883 entwickelten wir mit Mitarbeit von Thomas Edison weltweit den ersten elektrischen Luster.

In Vienna: In 1818 I moved to Vienna and in 1823 I opened my own shop in the 1st district - a trading house for glassware.

Artist Fact: I only laid the foundation for the company, but my sons Ludwig & Josef brought the company to great splendour. They  supplied crystal chandeliers for the Hofburg, Schönbrunn Palace, the Bavarian royal palaces, many other internatinal courts, as well as opera houses. 

Fun Fact: In 1883, with the collaboration of Thomas Edison, we developed the world's first electric chandelier.
