In Wien: bin ich stadtbekannt. Sie treffen oft auf meine Gebäude, die meist vom Jugendstil geprägt sind: 

Majolika­haus, Kirche am Steinhof, Pavillion am Karls-

platz, die Wiener Stadtbahn, die Postsparkasse u.v.m. 

Zur Person: Ich war Stadtplaner, Architekt und angesehener Professor an der Akademie der bildenden Künste.

Wussten Sie:  Mein Motto war: „Artis sola domina necessitas“ („Die einzige Herrin der Kunst ist die Notwendigkeit“). Somit wurde ich zum Urvater der Wiener Moderne. Also ein Trendsetter wie man heute sagen würde.

In Vienna: I am quite popular. You often find my buildings scattered around Vienna, which are mostly characterised by 

Art Nouveau : Majolica house, church at Steinhof, pavilion at Karlsplatz, the Wiener Stadtbahn, the Postal Savings Bank and much more.

About me: I was a city planner, an architect and a respected professor at the Academy of Fine Arts.

Fun Fact: My motto was: "Artis sola domina necessitas"

("Necessity is the sole mistress of art."). So I became the forefather of Viennese Modernism. A trendsetter as one would say today.
